Samoa Iconic, winner of the iF Design Award 2026

International recognition confirms Arcos’ commitment to design as a strategic axis of its product identity.

Arcos has just received one of the most prestigious distinctions in the world of design: the iF Design Award 2026. The Samoa Iconic series, our collection of frying pans and saucepans, has been recognized in the Product Design discipline, Household Appliances category, in a particularly competitive edition with more than 10,000 applications from 68 countries.

A seal of excellence with over 70 years of history

Awarded by iF International Forum Design GmbH, an independent institution based in Germany, the iF Design Award has been a global benchmark in design since 1954. Today, it symbolizes extraordinary achievements across all disciplines: product, packaging, branding, architecture, UX/UI, and concepts. All winning projects are published on ifdesign.com.

In the 2026 edition, an international jury of 129 independent design experts evaluated each entry. Samoa Iconic impressed these professionals and ranked among the best proposals in its category.

Samoa Iconic was born with a clear premise: design as the starting point, not an add-on. The collection stands out for its clean geometry, balanced proportions, and refined tactile experience. Its forged aluminum bodies, with a matte black or beige exterior, are combined with a gold-tone stainless steel handle that provides contrast and sophistication.

The result is a contemporary silhouette designed not only for cooking, but also for serving directly at the table. A piece that integrates functionality, technical innovation, and aesthetics into a single object.
